## How to change your email address

You can update the email address on your Morgan AI account at any time. Here's how.

## Steps to change your email

1. Open Morgan AI and go to **Settings**
2. Tap **Account > Email address**
3. Enter your new email address
4. Tap **Send verification**
5. Check your new email inbox for a verification link
6. Tap the link to confirm the change

Your email address is updated once you verify the new address. Until then, your old address remains active.

## Why verification is required

Email verification ensures that only you can change your account email. It prevents someone from accidentally or maliciously changing your contact information.

## What if I don't receive the verification email?

If the email doesn't arrive within 5 minutes:
1. Check your spam or junk mail folder
2. Make sure you entered the email address correctly
3. Tap **Resend verification** in the app

## Does my email address affect my invoices?

Yes. The email address on your account is where invoice-related notifications are sent. The email your *customers* see on invoices comes from your business profile, which you can set separately under **Settings > Business Profile**.

## Forgot which email you used to sign up?

If you're not sure which email is on your account, tap **Forgot password** on the sign-in screen and try the emails you commonly use. The password reset will only work for the email address registered with your account.
